From fieldwork to public engagement.
From your laboratory to the field—and from there to the media, social media, exhibitions, or public events—I create compelling visual, photography and video-based storytelling for research, with a particular focus on projects involving extensive fieldwork.
I specialize in communicating science from remote and logistically challenging environments, from the polar regions and high mountains to deserts, rainforests, and the open ocean.
With nearly three decades of experience accompanying scientific expeditions as science journalist and photographer, combined with technical training in mountaineering, climbing, and ski touring, I can safely work alongside research teams and produce authentic, high-impact stories from almost any field-based scientific campaign.
I teach courses in science communication (writing, speaking, adding visuals to address different audiences, presenting at meetings, policy briefings, writing). I support the design of activities that reflect the need for awareness, information, knowledge, interaction, and participation of the public or within the organisation.
